We thought of booking a room at Express by Holiday Inn, Putuo Shanghai. Address 843 Guangfu Xi Road during our visit from 4 to 6 Dec 06.
Pls adv if the location is near the Nanjing Road or near any metro station. We planned to do shopping at the ';Qi Pu Lu'; . Also wanna visit the fabric shops.
Any suggestion of other hotel would be good. Our budget is about CNY450.

With your budget, you could definitely find a good 3-star hotel on Nanjing Lu pedestrian street within 5 mins walking distance of a metro stop. A good and reliable suggestion would be Seventh Heaven Hotel. 430 RMB would get you a suite there.

Followed this thread as I am interested in trying out the new Express by Holiday Inn. Despite the somewhat ';remote'; location from the main tourist drags, can it be easily reached by the metro?
