Guilin with young children

We are considering a trip to Guilin with 3 young children. Any advise or suggested ideas of things to see/do? Is it possible to hire bikes with Child seats?

First you should go to Yangshuo rather than Guilin because in Yangshuo there are more things to see and do and it is generally cheaper across the board. Another consideration is that Guilin is a large by western standards city and it would be far easier fir children to become lost there.

Some but not all of Yangshuo%26#39;s attractions include-- Ballooning bike tours raft rides caving boat trips local markets climbing a Kaast Hill whether it be free climbing or up a walking track like Moon Hill bars a restaurants of West St and even a KFC now in the event your children do not like local food

Now I have to say that I have never seen child seats on the bikes for hire but that does not mean they are not available because i have not asked. I often see locals using child seats so maybe if they are not available for hire you maybe be able to purchase them or as an alternative hire a car to take you around the tour venues.

Should you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact me pwintle00@hotmail.com

Same here, I would suggest Yangshuo instead of Guilin as well. You might like to take a look at http://www.yangers.com for detailed and up-to-date information about Yangshuo, Alf the webmaster is very helpful if you%26#39;re still confused.
