Help required please with booking China internal flights

Can anyone advise please when and how we should book internal flights. Would it be cheaper to book internal flights as soon as possible, or should we wait until we arrive in China?

My wife and I are due to travel to China in late April. Part of our stay will be with relatives, but we also hope to take some internal flights during our stay. We have made enquiries, but are finding it impossible to book anything at present. Wehave been told to wait until 1 March, when, it seems, new timetables start.

Any advice or help offered would be very much appreciated.

We had similar experience last year trying to book a flight from Shanghai to the Yellow mountains. elong booking is just too complicated. Expedia did not have the flight we wanted.

You will not be able to booked until they released the new time table.

Finally, we booked directly from China Eastern in London. 08707 606 232 . Not the cheapest but it was a peace of mind.

Timetables do change seasonally, once in spring and once in autumn.
