Cheapest flights from HK to Singapore?

I%26#39;m visiting HK again in November for a couple of weeks and want to fly over to Singapore for a few nights.

Where should I be looking for cheap flights?

I have found suitable flights (Cathay Pacific), but if I try and book them through either Cathay Pacific%26#39;s website, expedia ebookers etc, they come out to around 拢1100 for 2!

I have found the same flights on zuji.com.hk for around 3700hkd (about 拢240) for 2.

Is there anywhere else I should be looking? Can I use zuji.com.hk as a UKresident?

Any/all advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Richard

zuji.com.hk (';powered by travelocity) = travelocity.co.uk

Cheapest flights can be had from local travel agents, such as www.morningstar.com.hk/chi/packages/01.htm

True online booking however isn%26#39;t available, and the cheapest fare won%26#39;t show up until maybe 3 months before departure date.

if u dont mind a high speed ferry ride to Macau to catch a budget flight to SIN, this will be your best bet on saving $.

The ferry ride is not more than 10 pounds each for the economy seats which are comfortable and the ferries are modern and newish :

Tiger Air (u wont be able to make any reservations until closer to date or max at 6 months before departure date and they always have promotional fares) :

The flight wont cost more than 65 pounds each (will most probably be lower than that).

Good Luck

Thanks for the tips :)

travelocity UK do not list the same prices though, I checked..

_de_last_one - that%26#39;s very helpful... I am actually planning on spending 2 nights in macau on the nights before our trip to Singapore.

The fact that the cheap flights go from Macau is great, as it means we won%26#39;t have to travel back to HK before departing for Singapore!

Richard,

since u r going to Macau anyways, Tiger Air will definitely be your best choice for a good fare to SIN, good luck.

PS. while in Macau, dont miss a meal at Fernando%26#39;s ! A must is the chicken (with fries) as well as claypot crabs.

You can also check out JetStar. We are flying from HKG to SIN in March - 1 way 3 tickets for 2200 HKD (apprx 280 USD). It was 6 times that in CX.

Singapore is usually good and one of the cheaper options.

so a flight booking Ldn-HK-SGH-HK-Ldn is not cheaper if booked from the UK ?

Cathay will do all that so maybe you should check.

Or LON-SIN-HKG-SIN-LON on Singapore Airlines and enjoy the privileges of a Singapore Stopover.

HK to Singapore is actually a very competitive route and should not cost that much. In the papers today, there was just a promotion (but for February only outside of CNY peak) for a HK$1,200 rountrip fare. We have seen fares under HK$1,000 in the past. These prices exclude taxes of course. Check with the airline periodically. You might simply be too early to book a promotional flight.
