best way travelling to Harbin - from Beijing!

Undoubtedly, by train. But when do you want to take this trip? BTW, you can check the train timetable through www.adventurechinatrip.com/chinatrain.asp.

Cheers

intend to visit Harbin by May

During May is there still skiing?

isnt the train ride really long

It%26#39;s only about 10h40min to get there on the fastest train (the Z train), which are overnight anyway, so you don%26#39;t actually lose any time travelling. You have to sleep somewhere anyway, so why not in a comfortable train sleeper?

Train speeds are due to upgrade again in April this year, so it might be even faster by the time you travel.

The Z15 leaves Beijing at 2030 and arrives in Harbin at 0710 the next morning. Hard sleeper costs 263/272/281 for upper/middle/lower bunk and soft sleeper costs 411/429 RMB for upper/lower bunk.

Prices quoted are for one-way.

how do i book a trian from harbin to beijing , a night train? which number it is? what our? cani buy it in beijing?

You might be able to buy it from Beijing, not sure of the actual possibility as it%26#39;s currently Spring Festival transport season, so rules might be different from normal times.

T18 (1916--0651) 11h35min

K266 (2020--1113) 14h53min

Z16 (2032--0707) 10h35min
