I am thinking of going to Dazu from Chengdu can you please let me know how long it takes to get there, can it be done in a day trip, can the trip be organised from the hotel and is it worth going there?
Also I am a woman travelling on my own and is it safe to do this?
Anyones help with this would be really welcome.

DazuI would like to say you can go there on your own but seems difficult in same day,you can take coach at bus station arrive there,spend one night,return to Chengdu next day.Many people here respect foreigners from western country,even pocket picking to foreigners is a serious crime for police.
