Late check-out

We are leaving Hong Kong in the evening - any suggestions for hotels that have later-than-normal checkouts so that we can freshen up in our room in the afternoon.

Hi, We had the same problem but didn%26#39;t go ahead with our late check out as they were going to charge a lot more, perhaps an additional nights accomodation. Have you checked out the hong kong airport page? they have lounges like the qantas club type things that you can pay to use the facilities...it%26#39;s around $20 AUD i think from memory. I think there%26#39;s more than one lounge though. Some have full shower and all those type facilities and internet, food etc included in the admission price. We had planned to use this facility but our flight details changed and it took three hour to sort out at the airport leaving us no time to utilise the services!

just a thought you might want to check out the airport facilities as well as looking into late checkout from your hotel

late check-out is typically offered free to frequest guests, or people who belongs to their frequest programs, or for anyone who asks (if it%26#39;s not high season)

The Shangri-la chain is the best for this. You can check out and then use the gym to freshen up.

and they do not charge you for it but please do inform them in advance and they normally do try and accomodate any request a guest has. Unless you have been such a pest and they really need to get rid of you.
