Hi all, were going to Sanya in August. What is the shopping like? Do they have markets with loads of fake stuff or is it all good quality shops? Thanks Colin

Absolutely nothing to buy there. If you find something in Sany city, it is 4 times the price of the same stuff in BJ or Shanghai.

If you really want to buy somethings in Sanya, try not to go to private stores. Consider those big supermarket or shopping mall. Although it%26#39;s expensive, compare with private stores, quality is guaranteed.

Not all. For example the cheese is like what you say - 4 times, may be 5 times. But, the tropical products, vegetables, etc. are much cheaper. Of course it is much better to have a guide, otherwise the Chinese sellers/taxi-drivers, etc. will try to enlarge the prices, because ';All of the foreigners are rich!'; LOL !
