Hi,
I am finalizing our schedule this end of Mar for the HK trip with my friends (8 adults all of us).
One of my friend recommended Caritas Lodge.
Nothing much that I can see about it. Any info on this one.
Is it within a good neighborhood ?
I can only see that it is 15-20 minutes walk (away) from Prince Edward MTR.
Any other hotels you can recommend - I admit cheap one as we intend to spend whole day (and night outside), and just need a place to sleep at night (simple and safe).
Thanks
Cheers,
Ram

HK Hotel - Caritas Lodge
Thanks Taipo Babe
No problem with the distance - I believe Taxi is easy.
anything else ? Are the rooms good ?
Caritas Lodge is not bad where is located in Yau Ma Tei, quite near MTR station not Prince Edward MTR, but still convenient. The price is around HK$700-850/ day when you want to stay in end of March.
If you want a just a cheap price accommodation but simple and safe, you can choose to stay in the resort which charges around HK$350-450/ day. You can see below website for your reference

The one located in Yau Ma Tei is known as Caritas Bianchi Lodge, a different one.
I personally think this is not a good choice... it%26#39;s at least 15 minute walk to Prince Edward MTR, and it%26#39;s next to one of the busiest and noisiest bridge/road in Kowloon..... very dusty too, and taxis cannot really stop there, I have seen SO many accidents and near accident in front of this building b/c a taxi tried to stop to pick up a passenger.
It%26#39;s a relatively safe area, but not much pedestrians to be seen around there.
Thanks Katetam
Yeah - that is what I am suspecting, after checking the maps of that boundary street.
This is most helpful.
