Weare visiting China in March/April and I need to buy a new mobile phone before we go , Can anyone tell me what ';band'; I need to get -Dual,Tri or Quad . Want a really simple phone ! We live in the U.K.

Any of those will do. You need a tri- or quad- band only if you intend to use it in North America or a few South American countries. Phones bought in China rarely carry any international warranty.
