Shopping & Tour Gide

Hello,

I will be travelling to Shanghi with my husband and three children (aged 10 years %26amp; 8 years) at the end of May. Would someone please answer the following questions; What will the weather be like?, Is it possible to hire a tour guide and what will it cost? Where is the best place to shop for children%26#39;s games and designer fakes e.g. Prada etc. Many thanks.

1) Take a look at http://www.wunderground.com for a better idea of what weather has been like in the past in Shanghai for that time of year. I think temperature would be in the 20s (Celsius) and starting to get a bit muggy.

As mentioned, the best market for fakes has closed, but there are still some people in that area selling fakes. Stock up on the fake DVD%26#39;s!!

If you hire a tour guide, you can see the real shanghai in a short time.

If you hire a shopping assistant, you can buy the produces with a lowest price.

Don%26#39;t go to tour guide agency, because the rate sometimes is too high. (some is 120USD) one day.

There are a lot of personal tour guide in Shanghai, you can search on internet.

price will be 400-700RMB/day

Also how much is 400-700 RMB approx in US$ %26amp;/or £ GBP?

Also if you wanted to stay near the Westin /the Bund but wanted a slightly cheaper 4* hotel, which would you choose?
