Hong Kong in 10 more days! A few questions please

Can we use the Octopus card for the A11?

Where can we find money changers in Causeway Bay near HIE?

How do we get to Man Mo Temple from HIE?

Thanks!

You can use the Octopus card on A11. In fact, you can use it on just about all sorts of public transportation including buses, trams, MTR, Airport Express, trains, green minibus, etc. Taxis don%26#39;t accept Octopus though.

You should probably draw money from an ATM (be sure to check with your local bank first regarding transaction fees) instead of using a money changer. It should be the cheapest way.

Man Mo Temple is located at Hollywood Road and Ladder Street, just a little east of Soho and the Mid-Levels Escalator. The direct route to get there from HIE is to take bus 26 from the stop near Canal Road East on Hennessy Road, and it will eventually stop right next to Man Mo Temple. You can just also take the bus or MTR to Central then walk up the Escalator and do a nice walking tour of Soho, Hollywood Road, and the surrounding markets. Lan Kwai Fong, Tsui Wah Cafe, and Yung Kee are also not more than a 10 minute walk from Man Mo Temple.

Thanks Sammyfloyd!

I read that we can buy Skyrail Vouchers in advance at the Causeway Bay MTR - will this guarantee us seats on the Skyrail for the day that we visit? We will be arriving on Feb 20 and have read that Ngong Ping might be full because of the CNY holidays.

i guess u%26#39;ve already read this page about the tickets of skyrail.

the skyrail keeps running through the day so you don%26#39;t need to worry about the availability...

however..even if you got the tickets, u may still need to queue up for the cable car and that may take a long time (both uphill and downhill)

It%26#39;s better if you can go there at an earlier time (around the time they open) and avoid going downhill around the closing time, and it should be fine.

i%26#39;ve been there on a sunday and went uphill once it%26#39;s opened (9:00am), but there%26#39;re already a lot of local tours so it%26#39;s pretty crowded (around 12 ppl per car!! )...and some ppl even have to stand! But then i went downhill at around 1pm...and 3 of us rode in one car and it%26#39;s sooo much better!

Thanks for the info. We will try to go early then.
