Best trip to Hong Kong?

Hi

My friend and I are planning on visiting Hong Kong this year.

However can anyone suggest when is the best CHEAP time to visit Hong Kong. By this I mean best time of year to visit but not during Peak expensive times (such as I believe April and November.

Also although we KNOW we want to visit Hong Kong what would be the best way to do this. Looking at a 10 day trip but possible visit Hong Kong for a few days (eg 4 days) then move on to...?

China? Singapore? Vietnam?

We are flying from the Uk. All suggestions/ advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Best trip to Hong Kong?

U can check to see what the promotional prices are like and then decide eg. If u plan Singapore airlines, u can use Singapore as a stopover destination and end up in HK, this way u get to visit two countries. Or if u fly Malaysian Airlines, u get to see KL or Thai Airways to see Bangkok.

Otherwise, u should consider the most economical way to travel (Oasis Airline from the UK) and travel around the region using budget airlines eg. jetstarasia, tiger air, etc

Here is a past discussion that might help:

Good Luck

PS. best time of the year in terms of cost ? Not very sure about this but it could be July (hot and humid) and typhoon season is just beginning

Best trip to Hong Kong?

hi

i visited hong kong in december, during christmas time. the money was no issue and the crowd was not too bad.

we also visited china for 3 days and that was not nearly as enjoyable as hong kong...you will get plenty of stares, they look at you like you are crazy in china.lol

i flew from US and i had a spectacular time in hong kong, i hope you do too!

Hello, If you want the cheapest time, you should avoid the peak season, you can visit in March, August, September

If you want cheaper accommodation, you can book through below website. They provide service apartment and resorts

Spend in HK for 4-5 days are quite enough, then you can visit China from HK by train.
