Hi Everyone,

my boyfriend and i are heading to Guilin and Yangshou for a week in Chinese New Year. we have planned 2 nights in Guilin and 4 nights in Yangshou. We would like to take the bus from Yangshou to see the Rice Terraces and have been told of some accommodation near the rice terraces. I have been unable to find any info on any accommodation and was after some help!! We want to spend 1 night there, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I know there is a bus direct to the Dragons backbone but since you are from Hong Kong then I am certain you know what getting accomodation will be like over the New Year period which is the high season for that area .

I do not kow personally how to book the bus and find out if there is any accomodation available at Ping an which is the village at the base of the Dragons backbone rice terraces but I am certain that this lady Lilly Lu will find this information for you. Please contact her on lulilly12@hotmail.com

There are many guest houses in Pinan Village which you can see Rice Terraces, however in winter nothing special, it is still worthwhile. So you can select one you like, it is chinese new year book it in advance is better, I think you can get room when you arrive there. I am local of this area welcome for more informations.
