At first glance, the answer seems obvious: May. Here%26#39;s the glitch. I%26#39;ll be visiting my daughter who is teaching for 8 months in Handan. We%26#39;d like to travel together to Xian, Luoyang, and Beijing during my visit, and the only time she%26#39;ll have available for travel will be during the May holidays or at the end of her contract in August.
Will I be better off braving the crowds at the train stations in May or the heat in August?
Thanks in advance.
China in May or August
I would do August. May is a hard time to travel due to the holiday crowds.
But if you really can%26#39;t stand hot, humid weather, that might not be a good time for you.
There is air conditioning, though, and Xi%26#39;an and Luoyang are not so humid as much of China.
China in May or AugustThank you; this is very helpful.
Susan
I would recommend August as well.
