Renaissance Kowloon

Hello,

We are just about to book this hotel for 3 nights in June. We previously stayed on the Island so thought we would stay Kowloon this time as we also would like to take our child to Hong Kong Disney and thought transport might be easier.

I have read many reviews but still would be happy for more advice. Is this a good hotel/ area to stay or can anyone suggest something for a similar price. We are paying 621 australian.

Thanks

Nicki

Renaissance Kowloon

Good hotel, but if you are paying over $ 3000 HK, that%26#39;s way too much. It%26#39;s usually around $ 1000 HKD to $ 1500 HKD a night (max).

The hotel is in a less crowded location in Tsim Sha Tsui.

The hotel has no harbourviews.

The hotel is connected to a shopping center.

To get to the center of TSim Sha Tsui, you will need to walk about 10 minutes in a underground pedestrian subway. It%26#39;s new, and brightly lit. Safe to walk no matter what hours.

From this hotel, if you take the MTR to Disneyland, it will take you about 45 minutes.

Beds are super comfortable, and pillows too.

Dynasty (chinese restaurant) is my favorite restaurant for Dim Sum. I( but I usually go to the one on HK island)..... this one is just as good, but the decor of the restaurant is not as nice as the one on HK side. Food is delicious anyhow.
