I Want 2 do a trip to HK, China (. Wall) Korea & Japan.. ?

Hello,

I am getting married next year and my (wife to be!) and I would love to do a tour of asia and take in the following places for our honeymoon (We have travelled a fair bit already and we loved Thailand etc so we are hoping to see some more of Asia!) .

Hong Kong, Great Wall of China, South Korea and Japan.

We are hoping to go for 3 weeks and we are hoping to break up the trip for example with 3 days in Hong Kong, 7 days for the Great Wall, 4 days in South Korea and 7 days in Japan.

Does anyone have any suggestions about the best place to go about this? Should we look into individual flights, or are there tour operators that will accomodate this?

Just looking for any suggestions at this early stage.

I Want 2 do a trip to HK, China (. Wall) Korea %26amp; Japan.. ?

when u say great wall, i assumed u meant to say spend 7 days in Beijing ? That may be a bit too long of a trip esp. if u r on a honeymoon. 4 days is good for Beijing unless u plan to split up the week with another city (shanghai is close).

HK for only 3 days ? China is not as easy a place for tourists as HK is esp. for the language factor. HK has a lot to offer other than shopping and dining. Japan definitely 7 days coz there are so much and different things to do. Do u want to check out the islands or just go to an old capital like Kyoto ? Toyko is fun for a day or two but spend the rest in Kyoto.

Seoul, sorry cant help u there coz only been there mainly for work and that was only a few ocassions. I can only recommend restaurants and two hotels lol ! I had been taken to an island for a weekend by locals and it was nice and supposedly the most popular island for honeymooners - Jeju or Cheju (depending on the accent of the local). The highlight of this island is the diving women (with no modern equipment !) who goes into the water to dive for bivalves. For details, u should post this for the korean forum.

HK has a lot of tour agencies but Asia is a easy place to do all the planning yourself. There are also budget airlines u can look at for going around the region.

I would suggest that u get a Cathay Pacific Asia Pass (they have two programs, one that flies out of US but another within Asia) and travel around. There is also the Asean Air Pass (linked to Thai Airways but u can fly on a few other carriers in the region depending on your route) but it is only limited to South East Asia, so is the hip hop pass. Discovery Air Pass takes u from Singapore to Japan and China as well as some other countries around the region. U can also check out Star Alliance Asia pass (they change every year with new destinations, etc so u got to check for your dates). Last but not least, u can check with Japan airlines for their air pass too. Here is one site that might help with budgeting :

Good Luck

PS. dont forget to look at Asian%26#39;s budget airlines :
