If we are travelling to Macau , can we cross the border into China to Shop or do you have to go to Shenzhen. We would like to show our 4 kids a bit of the real china - not tourism part?

If you%26#39;re going to mainland China you must apply for visas in advance. I don%26#39;t think shopping (or otherwise) at Shenzhen would be what I would take for a feel of ';China';.

It is a feel of china, but not a ';real china';... Shenzhen *is* the epitome of the tourism part, actually.
